    Has Marvel Runaways Lost Its Light? (SPOILERS)

    Has Marvel Runaways Lost Its Light? (SPOILERS) This is dadeclan back to you with my news and opinions about tv shows and movies. In this blog I will be discussing my thoughts on the TV show, Marvel Runaways, why it has disappointed me and why it is amazing. Marvel Runaways The show is about a group of teenagers who discover their parents are a part of a super-villains cult in disguise (knows as Pride). After going their separate ways for many years due to their friend’s death; the teenagers are thrown together. Eventually the teenager’s band together to find out what their parent’s mission is and the secrets they are keeping from them. Later on in the series they run away from their homes in order to clear themselves from their parent’s wrong doings and soon discover they aren’t just any teenagers. In the process of trying to take down Pride the group of teenagers uncover secrets about themselves.   Since the beginning of marvel Runaways it has always interested me. At the end of each episode it always left me wanting more, more explanations, more storyline. But has that feeling disappeared? Since starting the second season, I have had a sense of despair. Once I finished each episode in season 2 I was kind of like, “oh, ok the episode is done, well time to go to bed.” There was no feeling of wondering, no wanting more. Nothing! Season 1 was so good, I couldn’t believe a show this...

    Has The Hunt Really Evolved? {PART 3}

    Has The Hunt Really Evolved? {PART 3} This is dadeclan back to you with my news and opinions about tv shows and movies in my latest blog about “Predator 2” {1990} I discussed that I was impressed with the movie and had more of my kind of feel to it. In this blog I will be discussing my thoughts on “Predators” {2010}. Predators {2010} Since watching the second predator movie I have been increasing my expectations of the Predator franchise. The third instalment of the series met my high standards. My favourite bit of the movie was when all of the predators became visible to the camera. I liked this movie even better because it felt like one of my favourite movies; “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle”, as they were trying to escape the place they fell to. Also loved the epic curveball at the end, absolutely dog bro. The thing I most liked about this movie was that you had no idea what was going to happen next. Also loved the special effects. And that’s how Declan sees it! Stay tuned to find out more of my point of views on the final Predator movie and why I think fans of the old franchise won’t like the new movie as much. (

    Has The Hunt Really Evolved? {PART 2}

    Has The Hunt Really Evolved? {PART 2} This is dadeclan back to you with my news and opinions about TV shows and movies. In my latest blog about The Predator {1987} I discussed that it wasn’t my favourite predator film. It just wasn’t my kind of film. In this blog I will be discussing my thoughts on “Predator 2” {1990}. Predator 2 {1990} Since watching the first predator movie I wasn’t hoping for a lot of scenes with the predator in action, but was just hoping for some entertainment. I was surprised when all of a sudden the predator was visible for about a quarter of the movie. Not just that, but the environment was really something. Even though it took a while to get into the story, the ending made up for it. The best part of the movie was that it wasn’t in the jungle the whole time, instead it was the city, which I loved. Even the predator costume looked better. Was it just me, or was the suspense of not knowing what the predator was going to do next; thrilling? Now this might be the only thing my Dad and I agree with each other on for this movie… The main character ‘Lieutenant Michael Harrigan’ played by Danny Glover just looked drunk or uncoordinated while holding a gun and during a crisis. God knows what he was thinking. Throughout the whole movie it was very entertaining and enthralling. Now that’s a surprise to me because I...

    Has The Hunt Really Evolved? {PART 1}

    Introducing dadeclan’s blog, that’s me. I live for TV and dance, it’s my life; all I care about. Well and my family of course. I am a 13 year old boy with strong opinions that are my own. Every week I will post blogs about TV shows and movies with my reactions and point of view. I will also update your minds on news about new movies and TV shows coming soon, reboots, remakes and book and comic adaptations. Let’s start this week off with a bang…    I will review the 4 predator movies this week. The Predator {1987} This movie was a first of its kind to me. It was thrilling in some ways. Although this was not my favourite predator movie, it was still entertaining. The thing that put me off, was that it was in the jungle the whole movie, with very little dialogue. The dialogue was very limited, but had enough detail to let you know what was going on. I was raised into a new age of film and TV, so I don’t normally like old movies. Another thing that put me off, was that before I watched this movie, my Dad showed me the latest predator movie, “The Predator” {2018}. After watching the latest movie I was looking forward to seeing more of the predator in the original movie. But was disappointed how little scenes had the actual predator in; I wanted more. Stay tuned to find out more of my point of views...

Gunnery “Like taking candy from a baby.”
The Gunnery is like his brother. He has one person in his life that matters. Himself, just don’t stand in his way.
Lord Dragoon “Do not disobey me!” The head of The Company, he has enjoyed many advantages throughout his long life. The Councill is his direct report in theory, though he more then manipulates them into doing what he requires. He has an evil agenda and I pity all that stand in his way, even his son…

About DC Daines

It’s not a man’s thoughts that make him evil.
It’s what he does with those thoughts..

The world of “The Star Crystal” was something that I did not make up. Rather it came to me in a time of need. After many years working in the same job, I turned up to work, got myself stuck in a drum heating oven. Just imagine a massive, double-door steel box. Freaked out with mass claustrophobia and phoned my partner in crime. I can still remember those words, “I know that we have only been here for fifteen minutes, but I really need to go for a break.”
